This website is born out of a love of color & textile arts. It is a designed to be a comprehensive collection of the colors I have achieved with natural dyes, stains & pigments on cloth & paper.  Not every color will have a detailed recipe or notes on how it was achieved. As I add more, I will be standardizing my methodology, recording techniques, & notations. The short term goal is to inform your own dyeing & crafting process in a helpful way. The long term goal is for a community of crafters to contribute your own samples to the Alchemist's Color Codex.
